Handmade dolls are wonderful for many reasons, but one of my favorites is that they are uniquely made just for the child they are given to. My mom made me a doll when I was a girl that I cherished, and no one else had one exactly the same. We are all special, aren't we? :). Love your dolls...and clothes!!!

Handmade dolls are special because they are made with love. I like the idea that my daughter can have a "mini her" that she can cuddle with, unlike dolls such as American girl.

I also have three daughters. In many ways they are the same...facial features, tall and thin, big hearts and great snugglers. But they also have so many, many characteristics that make them unique. Like your dolls. Each stitch the Maker used was unlike any other. Every movement of the Maker's hand was planned and thought out so that each of His creations would be special and cherished. I love your dolls. I think you put a lot of love and thought into them. I wish I was as talented because I'd love to be able to create something that could be cherished and loved and passed down to future generations to be cherished and loved again.

I love the uniqueness and personalization of handmade dolls. No two dolls are identical...just like our children! I also love being able to personalize with scripture (I haven't found that option on a "store bought" doll). I love the huggable cuddliness of handmade dolls. These are so cute!! After having two boys first our little girl doesn't have many girly toys. I have been trying to make and get more handmade toys for my children because then their toys are one of a kind. I also love the fact that hand made toys seem to help children use their imagination more because there isn't a set way to play with them!

I love handmade doll because there's no other like it, and it can be built to resemble the future owner, making her/him treasure the doll more than store bought one. Same goes with animals, a favorite animal with certain favorite color is sometimes hard to find in any retail store. Also, they serve as greater room decoration. And they won't be hurt as much if you step on it accidentally, unlike Transformers stuff.
What do I love about handmade? Well I trust the energy behind all our handmade items. So much so that our youngest daughter Bubble needs an operation and the one thing I can control is the energy around her so I am on a mission to surround her with only handmade toys, sheets, bedding, etc. It's what she is use to and it will be no different and as a mum I want the best for her. What I like best about handmade dolls is that they CAN be customized. I didn't realize how difficult it was to find a doll that wasn't white skinned and blond-haired until I adopted my two daughters from Vietnam and Ethiopia. It is so hard to find them dolls that look just like them. These handmade dolls could be made with their hair,their skin, and their eyes, and that is just awesome!

I love handmade dolls because they are just so soft normally and they have a wonderful appeal to children! There are so many great things about handmade dolls! I had a great aunt as I child that made dolls and the Ragedy Ann she made me sits in my sewing studio now. :) They are real. Not plastic. Loveable and unique!

I love handmade dolls because they are so soft and special. They keep saying I love you even/especially when they are grubby with love. I love the little heart pockets. So sweet. My only struggle will be ....who gets it once I have won it.
